Registered Psychologist, Nicholas Keown provides
psychological services on behalf of Dynamic Safety Solutions.
Services include critical incident debriefing and employee assistance
program counceling.
Nicholas has Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise
Science and Psychology with Honours. He is currently completing
a PhD through the University of Western Australia that is investigating
the relationship between mining work practices and the psychological
health and wellbeing of male workers. The study is focused on
the strategies men use to cope with the demands of mining work
practices' including long and extended working hours, shift work,
long distance commuting and isolation.
With backgrounds extending to the Royal Australian
Navy and mining, Nicholas has acquired the knowledge and skills
to provide support and services to those individuals living and
working in the Goldfields region.
